— Meet Audrey Rey Espinosa
“Audrey discovered yoga in 2010 as a powerful tool for managing anxiety and healing from wrist tendinitis and lower back pain. Her journey deepened in 2013 when she completed her first 200-hour teacher training, later advancing her practice with a 300-hour SmartFlow certification under Annie Carpenter. She has also trained with Yoga Medicine, Ma Yoga, Ana Forrest, and Maty Ezraty, continually expanding her knowledge and approach to teaching.
Her passion for prenatal yoga grew through her own journey into motherhood. After completing her 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 with April Lovett of Unfold Yoga, she dedicated herself to supporting mothers through yoga—leading prenatal lectures for teacher trainings, hosting mom support groups, and teaching kids yoga, baby & me, and family yoga classes.
During the pandemic, Audrey helped cultivate a local yoga community by hosting outdoor yoga in the park. This journey led her to co-own Yoga Sanctum in her hometown of Whittier, alongside Jovon of Late Downey Yoga, building a space dedicated to connection, healing, and growth.
Audrey is a co-teacher in Yoga Sanctum’s Teacher Training Program and the creator of Seasonal Soul Circle, a signature offering that blends yoga, meditation, and sound healing. With a deep love for yoga philosophy, she empowers students with teachings that inspire self-awareness and transformation.
Expect to be welcomed with warmth and encouragement in her classes. Audrey has a gift for making students feel seen and supported, inspiring them to advocate for their own well-being through the practice of yoga.”
