Meet Jovon Salazar

“With over 20 years of dedicated practice and a deep love for the yogic path, Jovon brings a grounded, heartfelt presence to every class. After receiving her 200-hour certification with Tamal Dodge in 2015 and completing her 300-hour training with Annie Carpenter in 2020, she began teaching with the intention of helping others connect to their inner strength and sense of purpose, just as yoga has done for her. Her classes are slow yet strong, with a focus on mindful movement, steady breath, and intentional pauses. She weaves in Vedic wisdom and philosophy to create a class experience that nourishes both body and soul. Beyond the mat, Jovon lives a plant-based lifestyle, enjoys daily movement through yoga, walking, or strength training, and finds joy in mantra chanting, pedicures with her daughter, and playtime with her three beloved whippets.
